Between a Bank Manager and angry customers who wanted to destroy properties over Scarce Naira Notes.

A bank manager has been recorded addressing customers trying to withdraw money from her branch.

The manager informed the clients that there was no money in her branch, which is why the doors were locked.

She stated that the situation was out of their control and pleaded with consumers to understand and refrain from trashing the property.

“I don’t have cash anywhere and we are not obliged to pay you old money,” she explained.

She went on to say that even banks that are now issuing cash will only be able to do so for a limited time.

“But as at this morning, they have told us that no bank was supplying money, so even for those that are withdrawing now, after a while, you might not see to give again. At the moment, we don’t have in my branch,” she added.

As a result, she stated that the bank must close to all clients in order to prevent the destruction of bank property.
