A Nigerian mum lashes out at her youngest daughter after she refused to pray for the family during a morning devotion, sleeping instead.

The video posted by the woman’s elder daughter, @olajumoke5212, captioned her sister’s reaction after their mother called her to pray for the family.

During the morning devotion, their mother was triggered to wake her sister by flogging her with a broomstick after discovering the girl was sleeping instead of praying.

The woman was upset because she refused to say “Amen” to prayers and didn’t even know how to pray alone.

As the girl led the family in prayers, she persistently called the Blood of Jesus, which triggered her mum, who instantly stopped her from repeating.

Her mother exclaimed that she was clever at hurling insults at people, but was unable to utter any words when it came to prayers.

Speaking in the Yoruba dialect, the mother lamented that despite being a Christian, her daughters neither attend church nor have the knowledge of prayers.

Popular Nigerian TikTok star and live streamer, Jarvis, also known as Jardolita, has caused a buzz following a recent livestream.

In the video, which featured her and two others, Jarvis was heard bragging about the amount of money she and Peller have.

This comes following criticism from fans and colleagues over their decision not to participate in the 30 Days Rant Challenge.

Recall that Peller had earlier urged Nigerians participating in the challenge to take their rants to other social media platforms, instead of TikTok.

Nigerian Senator Ned Nwoko has channeled his inner Shakespeare in a poem to his 6th wife, Regina Daniels.

Sharing on his Official InstagramPage he posted a poem with the title “Six Years Later…: She Still Can’t Resist Me!”

The poem, which has seven stanzas, reflects the senator’s undying love for his wife and how much he cherishes her.

Ned, who chipped in on how he asked Regina to marry him, disclosed in his poem that he is ready to renew their marital vows.

Former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has taken a swipe at people who flaunt their expensive lifestyles at high school reunions.

Sharing in a tweet on X (Twitter) he questioned those who attended reunions in their Bentley cars and Rolex Wristwatches.

He went on to describe the people who do this as cruel, claiming that they’ve unknowingly pushed some of their colleagues into depression and even suicide.

Nigerian celebrity lawyer, Stan Alieke has revealed that using the word ‘allegedly’ will not protect one from a lawsuit.

Sharing his thoughts on his Instagram story, he noted that the word ‘allegedly’ is not a shield against a defamation suit.

Stan who described ‘Allegedly’ as the most abused word in Nigeria, explained that it implies a lack of proof or an unnamed source.

He further stated that one can’t intentionally defame someone or knowingly spread a falsehood against a person and expect the word “allegedly” to provide legal protection.

Different reactions have trailed a post that was shared on TikTok, which captured a lady speaking about her former job.

The lady who claimed to have been a professional money picker for two to three years now gave a detailed insight into her former job.

She started by saying she had to invest in herself in a way that she wouldn’t look like someone who was coming to pick money at the club.

She said;

“I rebranded myself, I bought hair, some good clothes, some shoes, some nice perfume, treated my skin, I was popping. The first club I went to, they easily accepted me because I looked nice.”

Speaking about the challenges she faced, she said when she first started, bouncers used to kick her out of the club.

Adding that there was a time a bouncer stepped on her hand for close to five minutes while she was trying to pick money.

“There was this club I went to, there’s one huge bouncer there I had no idea that he has been marking me so when they threw the money and I dived to pick it he stepped on my hand and stood there. I was trying to shout, I was trying to hit him but he was too huge and everywhere was too loud.” She said.
