Nigerian singer BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has taken to social media to share his chat with DMW boss Davido, congratulating him on the arrival of his new Bentley.

Recall that BNXN emerged as the winner of “Next Rated Artiste” at the 15th Headies Awards that were held in the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, United States, in September 2022 and won a brand new 2022 Bentley Bentayga.

He recently took delivery of the luxury whip in Nigeria and showed it off on social media.

Reacting to BNXN’s post showing off the whip, Davido congratulated him and revealed he was just thinking about the car a few days ago.

“I was thinking about this your car the other day, finally congrats”, Davido wrote.

In response, BNXN noted that he missed the 30 BG boss and went ahead to share a screenshot of the chat online.

The chat elicited warm responses from fans, who praised Davido for always looking out for others.

In other news, a Nigerian lady who claimed to have lived in Naira Marley’s residence for a time has claimed that the singer is not who many think he is.

She recounted her encounter with the Marlian Music boss during a sit-down interview with YouTuber, Shaddee.

According to the yet-to-be identified lady, she spent six days in the same compound as the singer, and he only left his apartment twice.

She averred that Naira Marley is not as ghetto or razz as he portrays on social media, and he actually has a calm and introverted personality.

The lady, who spoke highly of the singer who sings about sex and obscenity, opined that he probably created the persona he exhibits online to suit his style of music.

A trending video of Nollywood actress turned politician Funke Akindele’s nanny covering the faces of the actress’ twin boys in public has stirred reactions.

The actress was recently at the mall with her children, her bodyguard, and their nanny when she stumbled on some TikTokers who were dancing and making a video and decided to join them.

As the mother approached the content creators, her children wanted to follow her, but their nanny quickly stooped  them and covered their faces from the camera.

Recall that Funke welcomed the twin boys with her now-estranged husband, JJC Skillz, in 2018 and has since kept the children’s faces out of the public eye.

As a result, as soon as the nanny noticed they were being filmed, she quickly pulled the twins closer and covered their faces.

The act earned her accolades from social media users, who noted that she’s competent.

However, speaking in a recent interview with media personalities, Jide Okonjo Funke revealed why she’s yet to unveil her children’s faces.

According to her, she’s already well known in the media space and it would only be right if she saved the children from all the attention that fame brings.

The mother of two noted that when her children are old enough, they can decide for themselves if they want to show their faces and be in the public eye or not.

“Their dad and I are already in the public eye. They are children, don’t forget. They are children . They are vulnerable so you have to just keep them away, keep them safe. Let them go to school, let them enjoy their lives without “Ah!” that’s Jenifa’s son. That’s JJC’s son. Ah see his leg, see his face” Leave them private!” She said.

Olori Sekinat Elegushi, first wife of the Elegushi of Ikate land, Saheed Ademola Elegushi, says she is unperturbed by her husband’s philandering ways.

The mother-of three stated this in a recent interview with BBC Yoruba while speaking on the dynamics of their marriage.

According to her, she is well aware that her husband has several mistresses, but she doesn’t mind because he loves and prioritizes her.

Speaking in his defense, the Queen, who married the monarch in 2003, stated that all men cheat on their wives, so it is not a deal breaker.

She further stated that when her husband married his second wife in 2019, she was unfazed because she remains first in his life, and no one can take her place.

Olori Sekinat, who spoke in Yoruba language, said in translation,

“There is no man that doesn’t cheat. All men cheat. Even though my hubby has girlfriends, he loves and respects me and put me first. No woman can shake me because I know my position as his wife. Even when he got a second wife, I wasn’t moved. I remain the first. No one can take my place”

The Grammy award winner, who recently welcomed his second child with his third baby mama and manager, Jada P, is currently in Nigeria and was spotted with a group of friends at a club in Lagos.

In the video that’s currently making the rounds online and shows Wizkid at the club, he’s seen with a mystery lady.

A while back, popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid has stirred an uproar on social media over his unconventional advise to women with struggling partners.

The ‘Made in Lagos’ superstar had taken to Snapchat to advise women whose husbands have to seek financial aide to provide for their family to subject him to menial duties because he’s nothing but an house help.

“Ladiesssss… If ur man out here begging to feed u and ur family since una dey together, make sure him dey wash ur pant/bra and plates for house. That’s ur househelp. Good morning kids,” he wrote on Thursday, January 19.

This tweet sparked mixed reactions online, with many berating him for broke-shaming people because he is rich and famous.

However, some raised speculations that he was throwing shades at popular comedian, Mr Jollof, over his recent comment on his proposed tour with his frenemy, Davido, despite their strife.

A 65-year-old woman has passed away days after she was raped multiple times by robbers who broke into her home in Kaduna on Sunday, January 29.

The deceased’s son, identified simply as Ahmed, a corp member, took to Twitter to share the devastating news on Wednesday, February 1.

On the night of the robbery attack, @KingAhmed26 posted an SOS message on Twitter, explaining that his mother had called him in fear that someone was attempting to break into her home.

He tagged the police and pleaded with them to go to his mother’s house to rescue her because he couldn’t do much since he was in another state serving his country.

Unfortunately, his cry for help fell on deaf ears, as he received no response or assistance from the police. He later revealed that his mother had been gangraped and was in the hospital.
