Nigerian political commentator Reno Omokri has stirred reactions online following his comments about the public complaints over traffic congestion.

Sharing in a lengthy tweet on X (Twitter), Omokri addressed critics who were expressing their frustration over the gridlock to go back to their state of origin.

Recall that some commuters had reportedly been stuck in traffic on Tuesday up to Wednesday following the closure of Independence Bridge.

Reacting to their complaint, he advised that critics should rather return to their state of origin or put up with the situation.

A part of his tweet read;

“Every day, night buses bring 6000 people into Lagos, many of whom are looking for Lagos State to treat them better than their own states could. When they don’t get that five-star treatment, they come online to say nasty things about Lagos. Instead of insulting Lagos and its people because of this inconvenience, why not appreciate the fact that the LASG has built Blue and Red line trains that offer you an alternative to road transport? Does your state have such? Capital no. Compared to Lagos, many states are glorified villages. One state even celebrated the first bus stop in its history, yet people from that state are criticizing the Lagos Government. Instead of attacking Lagos State over the road closures and their attendant traffic congestions, I have an idea for you. Consider returning to your state of origin. And if you cannot return because Lagos is better, I will counsel you to put up with the situation.”

His statement has sparked mixed reactions among the public. While some agreed with his stance, others criticized him, describing his views as insensitive and tribalistic.

A lash technician was stunned after discovering her client and partner playing romance while she worked in a bid to oppress her.

The lady @rufa.glam stated in an internet video that she chose to become a lash technician, but her female clients would instead oppress her by visiting her salon with their partners.

The corp member @shunamite shared on TikTok how thrilled she was to be honored, especially with a shower of dollar bills and Naira notes.

The lady was recorded grinning and typing on her cell phone as the dollar bills were sprayed over her NYSC certificate.

A seller was drawn to her wonderful occasion at the local government and couldn’t take his eyes off the lady’s certificate and the dollar bills.

Many conjectured that her partner honored her celebration by showering dollar bills while another person accompanied the bills with Naira notes, even though she could not identify the individual.

In a new video that he shared on his social platform, Portable was seen engaging in rigorous self-training in the gym.

Recall that the rivalry between the two artists has escalated rapidly and has gained the attention of many internet users, fans inclusive.

The duo had a disagreement over performance fees which led to the exchange of insults and now to a boxing match.

Portable could be heard in the video bragging about his abilities and street upbringing, referring to himself as ‘Ajepako’ while mocking Speed Darlington as ‘Omo Butty’

Taking things further, Portable extended a bold invitation to Burna Boy and his mother, urging them to attend the fight.

He accused Speed Darlington of disrespecting him and expressed his desire for Burna Boy to witness his victory firsthand.

A lady has taken to social media to call out an acquaintance who allegedly blocked her after she mistakenly sent him money.

Sharing multiple tweets on X formerly Twitter, she revealed that she was trying to withdraw the last of her money from a POS agent when she mistakenly sent it to him.

According to her tweets, she called him and tried to persuade him to return the money, explaining that it was the last she intended to use for transportation back home from work.

However, he refused, claiming he had already spent it on food and blocked her right after.

Her tweet read;

“So, I closed from work, exhausted. Decided to withdraw some cash from a POS agent—my last cash, by the way, because things have been tight lately, but I’ve been managing on my own. I made a transfer to the agent, only to realize I sent the money to the wrong account. But then, it was an Opay account. I quickly copied the phone number and called the person. That’s when it got even crazier—it was someone I KNOW. Relief washed over me. Surely, this won’t be a problem. I called him, explained what happened, and begged him to send my money back because I was stranded. Do you know what this guy told me? He has used the money to eat. I was like wdym, but thinking he was joking, I kept pleading, telling him I was literally stuck on the roadside with the POS agent. I didn’t want to be standing there, helpless. He ignored me, so I kept calling cause I was stranded on the road, and this guy sent me a message with, “Your money don go.” Like, what kind of wickedness is this? This is someone I have NEVER owed. Someone I’ve done multiple transactions with, and he has never once even given me a discount. And today, when I made a mistake, he stole from me. And as if that wasn’t enough, he blocked me. Just like that. All because of 2,200 naira. And me? I had no choice but to TREK home from work. People are actually heartless. I’m pained asf.”

At the time of this report, he had reportedly refunded her after much pressure from internet users who were calling his line that she had attached to the tweets.
