Nigerian man has sparked controversy online as he berates Afrobeat singer, Davido for disrespecting his wife by smoking next to her in public.

A tweep identified as @TheDamiForeign on Twitter (X) shared the couple’s picture, showcasing Davido lighting his cigarette next to his wife, Chioma while they were in public.

He mentioned that as a married man, Davido displayed an act of disrespect towards his wife by publicly smoking next to her.

He wrote,

Internet users assert that the wife’s family would have rejected their marriage proposal if the singer was a middle-class man but his rich background has made the indecent behaviour appear normal in public.
